Traditional Stone Pet Memorial

Losing a pet can be a difficult and emotional time. Pets are an extension of our families and should be treated accordingly. Our Standard Pet Memorial Candles are the perfect way to honour and commemorate their lives. Lighting a memorial candle gives you a moment to reflect which helps the healing process by allowing the feelings of sadness, heartache and sorrow to be replaced with warm thoughts and fond memories.

At Rock Star Carving we craft all of our Memorial Candles to stand out from other products on the market. Each candle is personalized using a reverse engraving technique to ensure that it stands out in any decor or environment. There is room for your pet's name as well as a symbolic design of your choice on our Standard Pet Memorial Candles.

We use only one piece of 100% Natural Eramosa Limestone. This type of stone is indigenous to the Wiarton, Ontario region and is not known to exist anywhere else in the world. It is world renowned for its unique and pronounced fleuri pattern as well as its beautiful veining.

Each candle we craft is hand cut and it is during this cutting process when the natural rock faced edges are formed. The result is each piece being unique and different from the next even when it has the same inscription as another stone. This is our favourite feature of the stone and we believe it represents the individual differences in all of our pets.

Once the engraving is completed the stone is coated with a "wetlook" natural stone sealer which brings out and enhances the natural beauty of the stone. The end result is a natural and organic looking piece of artwork suitable for any decor or environment.

This product is heavy and solid and will last for generations.

NO COLOUR GUARANTEE. ALL PRODUCTS ARE CARVED FROM NATURAL STONE. NATURAL FLEURI PATTERNS AND VEINING CONSIST OF DIFFERENT SHADES OF BROWNS AND GREYS DEPENDING ON HOW DEEP IN THE QUARRY IT WAS MINED. WE HAVE NO CONTROL OVER THIS.

STONE TEXTURE VARIES FROM STONE TO STONE. ERAMOSA LIMESTONE IS A SOFTER STONE CONSISTING OF VARIOUS TEXTURES NOT EXCLUDING PITTING AND NATURAL FISSURES. YOUR STONE IS NOT BROKEN OR CRACKED. WE GUARANTEE A SMOOTH, LEGIBLE ENGRAVING FREE OF PITTING AND FISSURES BUT NOT ON THE REST OF THE CANDLE. THESE NATURAL DEFECTS ADD TO THE BEAUTY OF THIS PRODUCT.

STONES ARE NOT PERFECTLY SQUARE OR SHAPED. THEY ARE HAND CUT RESULTING IN ODD ROCK FACED SHAPES. CORNERS ARE NOT ALWAYS 90 DEGREES. THE INDIVIDUAL UNIQUENESS OF EACH STONE COLOURING AND SHAPE IS THE BEAUTY OF THIS PRODUCT. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR SOMETHING PERFECTLY SQUARE AND SYMMETRICAL, THIS IS NOT THE PRODUCT FOR YOU.
